Nearby Mayan Ruins

Ruins adorn the areas surrounding the Tulum Retreat. What were once great gathering centers, cities, and holy sites can easily be reached and explored. Amongst these (pictured below) are the Chichen Itza ruins, Tulum ruins, and Coba ruins. The age of the ruins can easily be felt. It is difficult to not be moved in their presence.

Maya Tulum Retreat

Even the most highly specified photographs of this stunning retreat cannot capture the magnitude of its beauty.  The retreat offers bungalows, dining, massage facilities, and beautiful, wide-open yoga studios all beside the beach.  Within such a paradise, one has the opportunity to step away from obligations and technologies.  Transforming the self comes naturally here.

Surf and Sand

The Maya Tulum Retreat rests along the strip of coastal Yucatan, called the Mayan Riviera.  As you can easily imagine, this breath taking peninsula provides the perfect atmosphere to breathe through yoga, drift down miles of beach, and stare out into the sea.  The setting satisfies the desire for paradise, stirs the soul, and grants easy meditation. I truly understand why people return to Tulum again and again. This is now my favorite place to practice and teach.
